2026 Area F Convention @ Westlake HS
February 20th and 21st, 2025

The Area F (Central Texas) Latin Convention is held annually in the late winter for Latin and Greek students in the Central Texas Area.  Academic, artistic, and athletic contests, all based around Greco-Roman themes, are available for student participation.  Typically the convention begins on a Friday evening, when certamen preliminary rounds are held. Academic contests begin Saturday morning and the fun continues until late afternoon on Saturday when the awards ceremony is held.

Nota bene: The TSJCL rules apply for all contests that we have at Area convention - both academic and classical civilization.  However, Area F has 3 different competitions, monochromatic, polychromatic and 3D art.

If you are interested in hosting the 2023 Area F Convention and in serving on the TSJCL Board in 2022-2023, please have your teacher and parent/guardian sign these forms below giving you permission to run for office. Once you have these forms, please let Mr. Ellis know you are running ([email protected]). We will give you time to speak in the Final Assembly before the election.
